Key Ingredients

• Robust Vietnamese coffee grounds, sweetened condensed milk
• Heavy whipping cream, whole milk, sea salt
• Ice cubes, sugar, cocoa powder

Quick-Made Recipe

1. Brew a strong Vietnamese coffee using a phin filter: add 20-25g dark roast grounds mixed with a pinch of cocoa powder, pour hot water slowly, and let drip into 30ml sweetened condensed milk; stir well to combine.
2. Whip 30ml cold heavy cream with 5ml whole milk, 1/4 tsp sugar, and two small pinches of sea salt until soft peaks form—light, fluffy, and pourable.
3. Fill a tall glass with plenty of ice cubes, pour the cooled coffee-condensed milk mixture over the ice, and stir gently to chill.
4. Gently spoon or pour the whipped salted cream on top to create a floating foam layer.
5. Dust lightly with cocoa powder for an elegant finish; sip through the cream or stir for full flavour integration.
