Our Matcha Boba Tea, which consists of fine ceremonial-grade matcha mixed into creamy fresh milk, delicately sweetened, and poured over warm, chewy black pearls, promises vibrant emerald happiness. - Ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha, fresh whole milk, heavy cream, cane sugar syrup, jasmine green tea base, black tapioca pearls, filtered ice
Quick-Made Recipe
- Sift 1½ teaspoons ceremonial matcha into a bowl, whisk vigorously with 80 ml hot (not boiling) jasmine green tea until frothy and lump-free.
- Cook black tapioca pearls until perfectly chewy, then lightly sweeten with warm cane sugar syrup while still hot.
- In a shaker, combine 150 ml fresh whole milk, 30 ml heavy cream, the prepared matcha shot, and 20–25 ml cane sugar syrup (adjust to desired sweetness).
- Add plenty of ice and shake hard for 15–20 seconds until the drink turns a brilliant jade green and becomes beautifully frothy.
- Scoop warm pearls into a tall glass, pour the shaken matcha milk over them, insert a wide boba straw, and serve immediately.
